TIC™ (Temperature Indicating Captor) is a patent pending, Low Cost Industrial Bearing Monitor and Hot Bearing Indicator.

Use TIC to monitor:
Motor/generator bearings
Pump bearings
Scroll bearings
Conveyor bearings
Drives / gear boxes

TIC™ is an asset management reliability tool, providing predictive, proactive and preventative maintenance benefits in one small package.

Place TIC™ on your critical bearings to prepare for retirement of skilled workforce.

Can be equipped with external contact output to PLC, DCS system, or two wireless schemes via radio or cellular  technologies.

Installs in less than 5 minutes.

Understood in any language - Min. training - blue OK, red - contact maintenance.

Station Operators who don't do "rounds" now can give you an early alert.

TIC sensor is inserted inside the bearing housing to monitor bearing temperature.  Since the outside temperature of the housing can be 10 to 20 degrees higher, TIC offers superior results over IR guns and IR cameras.

Use TIC to provide an early indication to prolong lubrication to prevent damage.  Prevent the lubrication breakdown to prevent equipment breakdown.

• Simple & Cost Effective!
• Lengthen Lubrication lifespan -> Increases bearing Life!
• Reduce Fire Hazard!
• Employees learn when applying grease (too much will cause bearings to heat up - TIC will begin to flash red)!

No Training Required
Ease of Use | No Wiring

Battery Operated with no wiring. Before bearings fail, stick on a TIC and let your operators PM Alert you!

Motor monitored by TIC

Motor bearing

will flash red from:
  • poor ventilation,
  • hot windings,
  • poor lubicated bearings,
  • miss-alignment
  • excessive side load.
